BookGlutton’s Widget

BookGlutton is, I think, the most interesting of all the social booky sites I’ve seen to date. They’ve put an enormous amount of thought into how to build a place where shared commentary on books can happen. From their about:

We set out to create a better way to read on-line; our goal was to make something different, engaging, intelligent and digital…Our intent: build an experience that is simultaneously a book group, a computer, and a book.

And there’s no need for you to visit BookGlutton’s site to see what their up to, because … testing testing testing … they’ve just released the BookGlutton widget!

Here is a widget for Moby Dick … you can read it, comment on it, and follow my comments on it, right here:

X-fingers, let me just press “publish” and see how that works.

UPDATE: aye it works like a charm, aye, like a charm.
